Jenny & Chris {April Wedding at Carillon Beach}

Jenny & Chris are high school sweethearts, and in every picture it’s beyond evident that they both just adore each other. Jenny, a wedding planner from It Takes Two Events in Atlanta, knew exactly what she wanted  from working in this crazy industry! As we sat through long vendor appointments planning their special day, Chris was such a trooper! He was the perfect groom to work with, making Jenny giggle to keep her calm through all these decisions! Jenny loved the simplicity of the Meeting House and had to have her ceremony there. She didn’t need any decor to add to it, but our amazing event designer from Myrtie Blue had a few surprises up his sleeve just for the happy couple!

Dear Wesleyann captured this couple’s classy style perfectly. After shooting their engagement session in the winter, Jenny and Chris felt right at ease with Wesleyann on their wedding day! I just adore Jenny’s happy smile in this picture!

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for these two! After having an iffy winter here in Florida, it was a nice break to have the sun shine brightly for this sweethearts!

Brian Watson from Mytrie Blue did a fabulous job on her bouquet as well! We love the pops of the light pink anemones with the dark violet centers! Did we mention how stunning she look on the right?! Our favorite walkover #7 is the perfect bright white backdrop for her flowing dress!

Of course the brilliant Wesleyann came up with this creative setting for their “almost” first look! Jenny and Chris wrote letters to each other and read them in the Carillon Post Office right before the ceremony. This picture describes both of their personalities perfectly, with Chris’ note for Jenny ripped out of a spiral notebook and Jenny’s a petite, clean piece of paper.

We absolutely adore this picture! The smallest of gestures are always the sweetest.

I just love the way the sunshine hits Jenny’s veil and sparkly studs in this picture!  Getting to know this couple has been such a joy, and we almost didn’t want their last wrap up meeting to come!  We wish Jenny and Chris only the best for their many years to come!

Allison & Hunter {March Wedding at Carillon Beach}

Destination weddings are our specialty, so when we found at that the Atlantans who were planning their wedding with us were originally from Panama City, we were so excited!  In fact, Allison is the daughter of one of our very own Carillon Beach homeowners.  The family had a special connection with Carillon Beach, so their decision to get married here was not a hard one.  I loved getting to know Allison and her family.  Her beauty truly shined from the inside out.  Allison & Hunter’s laid back personalities helped to create a very nice, yet comfortable feel for her guests.  I look forward to their vacations from work and the McRight’s get to visit us in our office!

Gorgeous...

We went with a laid-back, yet elegant (like Allison!) look throughout the wedding. Her ceremony took a very timeless approach to a pink and green color palette. She opted to make the ceremony more formal when we chose to do elegant seat covers on the classic, wooden chairs. We also wanted to create visual interest at the front of the Meeting House to make use of the beautiful, high ceilings.

We just adored the way her father, Wes, beamed as he proudly walked Allison down the aisle. You should have seen him at the rehearsal... We were told to keep some tissues nearby 😉

What a beautiful couple! When the ladies at VUE Photography took Allison & Hunter for their sunset pictures, they found a great spot overlooking the lake!

Allison chose to go with the fabulous clear-top tent. It gives guests a sense of dining under the stars, without leaving them out in the elements. Her natural, garden greens and brown chiavari chairs were such a perfect look for the Village Green venue.

The more rustic-looking chandeliers gave the reception a touch of elegance, while keeping a laid-back feel. Her simple 5-tiered cake was not only beautiful, but it also tasted delicious! We love anything personalized. Allison and Hunter's complimenting toasting glasses to commemorate their big day were perfect!

Yum!! It's always nice to see when the grooms "sneak" an extra bite of cake! We know... it's irresistible! Look how those chandeliers sparkle in that clear-top tent!

A beautiful night view of the dining tent.

... their smiles say it all! Congrats Alli & Hunter! It was a beautiful evening.

Katie & Andy {October Wedding at Carillon Beach}

Talk about sweet as pie… This Rock Spring, Georgia couple had the sweetest family around!  From the first day we met with Katie back in November 2008, I can remember her Southern charm and excitement to marry Andy.  The journey was so easy and pleasant, that we couldn’t wait for their colorful, Fall wedding!  From the first meeting with Nouveau, we knew that this wedding was going to be gorgeous!!  As soon as we started to set up the Village Green’s reception on the chilly, October afternoon, I knew this was going to be a wedding that we’d get noticed… and we did!  {see our BLOG}  Now you can see why we all felt this way…

Seeing pictures of Katie's dress never did it justice... when we saw it on the wedding day, we realized just how elegant it really was!

Katie chose to have a long, dramatic bouquet of brightly colored flowers. It was made to look like they were freshly-picked from her grandma's garden.

I fell in love with this picture the moment I saw it. The fall folliage was a beautiful backdrop for Katie's final moments of a single lady.

Picture-perfect details were found in every aspect of the ceremony. Beautiful purple and green hydrangea alongside neutral browns, really brought a rich, Southern feel to the Meeting House.

Good Ol’ Hank! Katie & Andy’s “baby,” an enormous Harlequin Great Dane, made his appearance at the ceremony.  Although he did not carry the rings, his doggy-wreath was large enough to adorn the front entrance!

You couldn't have found a happier couple in Carillon Beach this day!

Beautiful, vibrant flowers brought such a cheerful, lavish garden feel to the reception. Her linens were chosen to perfectly compliment the floral decor. Every table was named a sentimental street that has been important to Katie & Andy's blossoming relationship.

Katie chose to hang name tags as her escort cards. Each guest was able to find his/her name and table assignment by perusing the cleverly-arranged branches.

Another phenomenal cake by Rhonda of Confections on the Coast!

No guest could deny just how incredible the groom's "fishing boots" cake was! This cake was amazing, down to the very last detail! There were even edible rocks and a "brand stamp" on the bottom of the boots! The only thing not edible was the single-strand of fishing line!

The colorful chandelier looked even cooler as the sun started to set!

As the evening cooled down, guests enjoyed eating their delicious meals under the stars and mini-chandeliers that were strung overhead.

How glamorous!

Say cheese! A fun addition to Katie & Andy's wedding was a photobooth! The guests enjoyed leaving their mark in a signing/photo book that was left by the booth. We just adored this couple!
