Another fantastic engagement session shot!

Adorable! It's like they were school kids again! ((FUN FACT?! THEY MET ON THE SCHOOL BUS!))

Their shoot ended up out on the beach!... In anticipation of their beach wedding!

The engagement session was featured on one of our favorite wedding blogs! - Completely Unveiled by Weddings Unveiled Magazine!

The beautiful bride just needed a little assistance as she put on her gorgeous dress.

This picture is so special. I love seeing Kimberly help get her father dressed and ready to escort her down the aisle!

Christina's {Events by Nouveau Flowers} work is always flawless... especially in the Meeting House. We loved the strands of blue that draped in front of the window. The lettered wreaths also made a personalized touch on the doors.

Here comes the groom!

A breath-taking view as Kimberly walks arm-in-arm with her handsome father.

Some of my favorite pictures are those of the groom's first expressions as he sees his bride on their wedding day for the very first time.

So beautiful!

Just a little more comic relief was helpful as everyone was getting a bit choked up. Reverend Harry Houseman always seems to keep his ceremonies light and celebratory.

We loved the simple flowers chosen in the Meeting House by Christina {Events by Nouveau}. I even loved that although Kim chose to have the same bridesmaids dresses, they were all in a varying shade of blue. What a great look!

Officially signed the license! We all adore Harry.

YUM! The newlyweds wanted to start their reception off with Townsend Catering's "lollipop salmon skewers with scallions & dill cream sauce" as well as a refreshing glass of champagne with sorbet! The guys couldn't wait to dig in!

We loved Kimberly and Michael's details throughout their wedding! It brought out their playful personalities! As the fun was just beginning at the reception, our memorable moment #2 was about to occur...

... it POURED!! (maybe for only a few minutes, but enough to get everyone soaked!)

These two were in such good spirits that it really didn't matter! It was definitely something to laugh about!

When they returned to their reception after their "sunset pictures," the party went on! Once the sky cleared up again, they were ready to cut Rhonda's {Confections on the Coast} AMAZING cake!

Kimberly had to bring in Michael's love for fishing! The guys' boutonnieres were even adorned with fish hooks! There's just something about a fishy groom's cake... mmmm

Although the decor got a quick downpour, the rest of the night went smoothly and the night was gorgeous. Check out how fantastic the lighting was!

This was such a wonderful wedding... rain clouds and all! Although every bride prays for no rain on her wedding day, if it was going to rain, this was the perfect couple to make it a funny and an uncontrollable event.

... and of course, Completely Unveiled couldn't wait to blog about Kimberly & Michael's wedding either!

This June 20, 2009 Wedding was not only featured on Vue Photography's blog, but also on Southern Weddings' blog. Everyone seemed to like the wonderfully personal touches that Natalie added to their big day.

I'll never forget taking the newlyweds to the beach with Genya & Wesleyann (Vue Photography)... I ended up hoping Natalie didn't slip down the hill to get the BEST lake picture ever! *great idea, Genya!*

We all remember this awesome dancing duo and what a wonderful surprise/treat it was to watch Jennifer and Mr. Sowski break it down in every style imaginable!... and to think it all started with Heartland's "I Loved Her First" (the entire song!, so imagine the surprise when we thought they were done?!).

We couldn't be prouder!!! Our amazing vendors and venues have spoken for themselves! We are grateful to be in the Spring 2010 issue of the National Knot Magazine! Kelley Gerken & Jon Sunkin's light-hearted and nautical wedding was one of only two real weddings featured in The Knot this Spring.

Here is the fine-looking spread that featured this super fun & sweet couple. Yes, the couple who had their wedding party show us their personalized underlings on the beach! Please refer to our initial post from their March 2009 wedding. I laughed out loud when I saw that the picture of their place cards made The Knot... those buggers were impossible to keep standing in those turquoise rocks! It was a really wonderful wedding that certainly deserved to be featured.

I just thought I should point out that InStyle Weddings Magazine's WINTER 2009 issue featured another Carillon Weddings event! Although this was the very last issue of InStyle Weddings, they obviously knew to go out with the BEST!

InStyle Weddings chose Kelley & Jon's centerpiece (produced by our fabulous, Christina Springfield of Events by Nouveau Flowers) to feature as the main focus as a "SHOWSTOPPING CENTERPIECE!" We're so proud of our talented vendors who helped create and capture this look.

The March 21, 2009 wedding of Ashley & Zane (see our previous blog for a full look at their big day!) was the beautiful wedding that was featured. The article talks about how the famous picture of Christina's (Events by Nouveau Flowers) cascading orchids atop tall vases, captured her heart and drew her in to Carillon Weddings. We're so glad it did!
